Services and Options for Filling Your Positions
While most of our clients use us to find, screen, train and place talent for full-time positions (Temp to Hire), we offer a range of services and options for getting your positions filled.

Temp to Hire
We find ‘em, screen ‘em, train ‘em, and place ‘em with your firm. We pay the employee weekly; you pay us when you get the bill. You don’t have to lift a finger. We do ask that you welcome the employee, give detailed safety information, and provide adequate direction and feedback so that he/she has a chance of making it past the first day! And after the employee has had a few months to prove that he/she is a viable candidate for your employment, we ask that you hire the person.

Temp to Fire
Same as above, but with no intent to hire. This relationship is best for seasonal, surge, or special project work. Many of our employees are fine with this relationship.

Direct Hire Like a headhunter, we will find talent that you can hire directly—no “temping.” New Era will charge you a “finder’s fee.” This relationship is particularly good for more senior or technical employees who are not likely to be pleased about being a “temp.”

Payroll Service
You find the candidate and we hire them and carry all of the cost and risk until you tell us that you want to hire. Clients use this because they really like the “try before you buy” concept. Clients often find great people on their own, but they want to use a period of assessment before making the commitment to hire.

Temporary Leads
For those clients that have a multitude of temps on any one shift or in any one department, it is helpful to have a “leader of temps” working on site. For a small leadership differential, we will place a working lead in your company to assist in coordinating the crew, verifying attendance, resolving issues, training new temporary employees. These leads will go through specialized training at New Era for their leadership assignment.
